Hi !
Yes, I know it's not chronological. First I should describe March and April in the pictures, not May and June. But somehow it was easier for me to go back to the less distant months.
March
Swans are so dignified.
March 8 was International Women's Day and I received a card from my dad.
March is associated with the beginning of the lockdown in Great Britain, so I managed to go to work several times, but since then I have been sitting at home because my workplace is still closed and it is not known when it will change.
Due to a coronavirus pandemic, I decided to review the food I had at home. I even made a list. Our pandemic purchases were no different from the ones we always do.
It was the month I was covering my face. It looks like we will have to do it in July.
Spring was coming to life.
There were some unhealthy snacks, but I also made homemade Polish potato dumplings.
I had a lot of free time, which I got used to weeding a small garden in front of the house. And behind the house I planted various vegetables in pots.
My guy doesn't like it when I put a knife in butter like this . But he upset me, so I decided to get revenge :D I remember now! He didn't leave me milk for my morning coffee :P
The purchases I made for about two weeks.
My beloved has been training in the gym for many years, so closing the gym was the worst thing for him. He had to manage somehow and exercise at home. As the proverb says, there is nothing difficult for those who want.
April
I try to make my son also like to read books like his mother and his sister.
My son likes to take part in everything I do. Watercress can be planted on a cotton pads.
I like to decorate the house for various occasions.
Planted vegetables. Now I have to wait for something to grow.
This year is a bad joke.
Do you know what a watercress is? Perfect for sandwiches or bread in an egg. I would recommend.
We dyed eggs in different colors. Such eggs are called Easter eggs and are put into the Easter basket.
Walk with my daughter.
It was Easter in April. I invite you to my Polish blog for more photos from this event. Świeconka is a Polish tradition. It's blessed food eaten at Sunday breakfast. Food is blessed on Holy Saturday at a church during a special mass. In the Easter basket there are dishes symbolizing important things in the Catholic church. We have bread, salt and pepper, sugar lamb, horseradish, a piece of sausage, Easter eggs, a piece of sweet cake.
Nature can delight.
The weather was quite nice, so I spent a lot of time with the book outside. I was able to read two books.
A bouquet from my son. Sow-thistles are his favorite flowers.
Sometimes I like to drink cold beer on a warm day.
I really like this floral composition.
As part of her school work, Nadia had to interview a family member about the coronavirus. She chose Miłosz. Teaching Miłosz to answer the questions was not an easy task.
I spent the whole day mainly with my little son who, because of a pandemic, couldn't go to nursery.
In this way my Krzysiek will go out to the town. Full face and head protection even. I know, I know coronavirus is not a laugh.
The town was so peaceful when the pubs were closed.
I made a small order in an online bookstore. I ordered something for myself, something for my son and something for my daughter. Everybody was happy.
I am a bookworm and I can't help it. I love reading.
Bye :-)
I invite you to comment and follow this blog. I will be very pleased.
